Rev. Wesley Anderson joined us as lead pastor in the summer of 2025. He graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2005 and has spent over two decades in ministry as both a lead pastor and associate. His partner in both ministry and in life is his wife, Candice. They both grew up in Alabama and were both active participants on our district as students. Wes and Candice are excited to be serving the Lord closer to home - along with their two wonderful children, Noah and Calleigh.
RUSSELL BROWN
ASSOCIATE PASTOR OF MINISTRIES
& YOUTH PASTOR
Russell grew up in Ridgecrest, CA and moved to Pensacola, FL in 2012. He then began his service at PCN in the youth department as the youth pastor in 2012. Russell was married to his wife Hannah in 2017 and now has 2 children. Russell and Hannah moved to Texas in 2017 where he received a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in ministry from Hardin-Simmons University. He graduated in December of 2021 with his master’s degree in clinical counseling, marriage and family therapy as well as family ministry. Russell and Hannah returned to PCN in June 2021. He is now serving as the Associate Pastor of Ministries with hopes to develop a ministry of counseling and marriage enrichment program in the future. Both Russell and Hannah have a passion for people and connecting with them through worship ministry and local and international missions to build the Kingdom of God.
CLIFTON SMITH
FINANCE SECRETARY
Clifton, one of six siblings, grew up in Napa, California, graduating from Napa High School in 1971. Two years later, he and his wife Cheryl were married in the Napa First Church of the Nazarene, after which he enlisted in the United States Air Force, eight years, three children, and several duty stations later he was honorably discharged. Moving to Pensacola, Florida in 1995, Clifton worked as a software developer on both defense and commercial projects and eventually retired in 2019. Since retirement, he has served as the Finance Secretary for Pensacola First Church of the Nazarene.
HANNAH BROWN
WORSHIP PASTOR
Hannah was born in Sanger, CA but primarily grew up in Ridgecrest, CA where she first started attending a Nazarene church in 2007. She graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2013 with a degree in Physics and Minor in Music Ministry. She started attending Pensacola First Church of the Nazarene in 2015. Hannah and Russell were married in 2017 and now have 2 children. Hannah and Russell moved to Texas in 2017 where she received her master's degree as a Physician Assistant from Hardin-Simmons University. Hannah and Russell returned to PCN in June 2021. She is currently a District Licensed Pastor and is in the process of being Ordained within the Nazarene Church. She is now serving as the Worship Pastor at PCN. Both Hannah and Russell love engaging with people whether that is through worship ministry, their small group, or through local and international missions.
